HEATHER LESPERANCE

My love for dance started at American Dance Academy at the age of 3. I studied ballet, Cecchetti ballet, pointe, lyrical, tap, jazz, musical theatre, and hip hop. I traveled and competed regionally/nationally. Continuing to do so at Susie’s Dance Pointe until I graduated in 2001. I was awarded Dancer Of The Year in 2001 at my studio. From there I began teaching for 19 years for Garden City Parks and Recreation Dance Program also including special classes such as Mommy and Me classes, Princess Dance Camps, and Stretch and Flexibility classes. I’ve been married for 11 years and have 2 beautiful daughters who love to dance just like I do. Both my girls started dancing with me at the age of 2 and then decided they wanted to compete just like I did. We have been dancing and competing at Noretta Dunworth School Of Dance for 5 wonderful years now. I always enjoy sharing my passion for dance with others.
